El Corte Inglés is once again collaborating with the Apostle Festivities, reaffirming its commitment to the main cultural and traditional initiatives of Santiago de Compostela.

As part of its support for the city’s festive programme, the company is sponsoring the 47th edition of the Día do Traxe Galego, scheduled for July 26. On this day, traditional Galician attire will once again parade through the streets of Santiago’s historic centre, culminating in the procession and awards ceremony in Praza da Quintana.

In addition, El Corte Inglés in Santiago offers an information point about the competition at the Customer Service desk, located on basement level 1. There, visitors can consult the rules, collect registration forms, and resolve any questions related to participation. Registrations will remain open until July 19.

Organised by the Asociación do Traxe Galego and the Santiago de Compostela City Council, the competition includes categories for men’s costumes, women’s costumes, and groups of more than ten people. The participating outfits will be evaluated by a specialised jury at the Hospedería de San Martín Pinario before the final parade through the streets of Compostela.
