Exhibition ‘Eli’s Girls’ by Cristina Corral

The Sala de Ámbito Cultural of El Corte Inglés in Santiago de Compostela presents “LAS CHICAS DE ELI,” an exhibition of watercolors by Cristina Corral. An intimate look at the strength and diversity of women, as part of the commemoration of International Women’s Day.

The Galician artist has found in watercolor a profoundly human, delicate, and emotional language. The exhibition brings together more than twenty female portraits that reflect universal stories, emotions, and realities of women.

A cook and pastry chef by profession, Cristina Corral burst onto the art scene just three years ago, developing her own style through the creative challenge #mischicasconeli (my girls with Eli), undertaken in collaboration with illustrator Eli Notario.

Each work in the exhibition is more than just a face: it is linked to a story or a cause—gender violence, childhood marked by war, discrimination against women, bullying, a tribute to grandmothers—and reflects a part of the artist’s emotional and artistic journey.

  • The exhibition will be open from March 5 to 31, 2026, in the Cultural Center of El Corte Inglés in Santiago de Compostela, Monday to Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., with free admission.
  • The opening will take place on Thursday, March 5, at 7:30 p.m.
  • On Friday, March 20, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., the artist will offer a guided tour.

We invite you to discover this unique collection and immerse yourself in an emotional journey that celebrates the strength, diversity, and resilience of women.
