Get to know wildlife through the lens of photographer Marc Albiac in the Canon photography exhibition that you can visit in the Sala de Ámbito Cultural, ground floor, of El Corte Inglés in Santiago de Compostela from May 2 to 18.

Through this exhibition of 25 images, Marc shows us how he sees wild animals. Its main goal is to bring wildlife closer to people and raise awareness of animal biodiversity.

Always with an animal as the protagonist, Marc takes more documentary photos, showing behaviors or habitats; or more artistic, using creative resources such as blurs or high keys; but always the most valuable element in each photograph is the animal itself.

All images in this exhibition are of wild wildlife in total freedom and have been photographed with R system equipment from Canon, who sponsors the exhibition.

Marc Albiac (Barcelona 1999), graduated in Environmental Biology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, ​​is a wildlife photographer whose main objective is to bring nature closer to people, to raise awareness about the importance of its conservation. As a professional nature photographer, he teaches courses and workshops, guiding photographic trips abroad, the United States and Ireland are, in this order, his last and next destination in 2024. To his credit he has others with destinations as diverse as Morocco, Norway, Costa Rica, Tanzania, Finland, Kenya, …

Since he was born, his parents took him to nature to see animals and at the age of 7 he began taking his first photographs.

Since 2016 he has been a collaborator of the professional service of Canon Spain, with whom he has given presentations at nature fairs in the Spanish territory. From October 2020 to October 2023, he was an ambassador for Canon Europe.

Throughout his career, he has received more than 50 national and international awards.
