On October 25, Santiago de Compostela will once again become a major meeting point for sport with the celebration of the 47th Carreira Pedestre Popular de Santiago, organised by El Correo Gallego–EPI Prensa. The race will bring together participants of all ages, from school runners to athletes in the absolute category, in a day that promotes physical activity, community spirit and the values associated with effort and self‑improvement.

Committed to promoting healthy lifestyle habits and supporting grassroots sport, El Corte Inglés has collaborated with this race since its arrival in the city in 1998, backing an initiative that is part of Compostela’s sporting tradition and that every year brings together thousands of children and adults around one of the great popular athletics events in Santiago.

In‑person registrations can be completed at the Sports Department of El Corte Inglés Santiago (ground floor):

Absolute category (12 km)

  • - October 18–20: €15

School category (7 km)

  • - October 1–17: €5
  • - October 18–20: €8

Bib numbers can be collected at the Sports Department of El Corte Inglés Santiago during the following hours:
