Since ancient times, the word shark has been synonymous with "death or killing machine," but today the reality is very different. According to studies provided by those of us dedicated to researching these fascinating creatures,
There is a wide variety of shark species around the world, as reflected in this book. Most of them are harmless to humans. Statistics show that humans capture approximately 100 million sharks for commercial purposes each year, putting many species on the brink of extinction.
However, each year worldwide, there are an average of 73 shark attacks or accidents on humans, of which an average of 5 are fatal. Even man's best friend, the dog, kills an average of 20 people annually worldwide.
Who is the true predator?
