Gigi, still almost a child, is not yet old enough for dances or romances, but Gaston is a close friend of her family and visits them often. Gigi’s grandmother dreams of a future marriage between her granddaughter and Gaston, although his intentions toward Gigi have nothing to do with those expectations, until their relationship begins to evolve in an unexpected way.
