Our guest for May in our most cinephile segment has worked in almost every genre and format imaginable: television series like “Los hombres de Paco” and “Isabel”; big-screen dramas like “No tengas miedo”; and memorable dubbing roles such as the voice of Hermione Granger (Emma Watson) and Giosuè Orefice (the boy in “Life Is Beautiful”). In recent years, we've seen her in films like “Ocho apellidos marroquís,” “Bird Box Barcelona,” and “El secreto del orfebre.”

Andrea G. Bermejo, editor-in-chief of CINEMANÍA magazine and contributor to “Historia de nuestro cine” (RTVE), will discuss and share the films that have shaped the life of the actress, who will present her new film, “El Nido,” directed by Hugo Stuven, on July 24.

About Michelle Jenner

Michelle Jenner (Barcelona, ​​September 14, 1986) is a Spanish film, television, and voice actress with a solid and renowned artistic career.

She began her professional career as a child, first in advertising and later in voice acting, where she became one of the most recognizable voices in Spanish cinema. Among her most notable works are the Spanish voice of Hermione Granger in the first Harry Potter films, as well as characters in numerous animated productions by Disney, Pixar, and other major studios.

Her popularity as an actress took off on television, thanks to her role as Sara Miranda in the hit series Los hombres de Paco (Paco's Men). She later solidified her career with highly acclaimed roles, such as Queen Isabella I of Castile in the historical series Isabel, one of the most celebrated works of her career.

In film, she has participated in a wide variety of titles that reflect her acting versatility, from dramas and comedies to historical and genre films. Among her most recent and notable works are Bird Box: Barcelona (2023), Spanish Affair 2 (2023), and The Goldsmith's Secret (2025). On television, she has been part of the cast of series such as The Last Row, You Would Do It Too, and Berlin (2023–2026), where she plays Keila, a key character in the plot.

At the same time, Michelle Jenner continues to develop an active career in voice acting, lending her voice to leading characters in recent animated films such as Inside Out 2, where she voices Anxiety in the Spanish version.

With over two decades of experience, Michelle Jenner has established herself as one of the most versatile and respected actresses of her generation, renowned for her natural acting and her ability to seamlessly transition between film, television, and voice acting.

A journalist, humanist, and PhD in English and American Literature. A former child prodigy (or at least that's what her Twitter profile says). Editor-in-chief of Cinemanía, contributor to the program Historia de nuestro cine on La 2 (Spanish public television channel), and co-director of the documentary El hombre que diseño España (The Man Who Designed Spain), nominated for eight Goya Awards in 2021. And, as if that weren't enough, she also teaches Film Information in the Master's Program in Cultural Journalism at CEU San Pablo University alongside her colleague from the magazine, Janire Zurbano.
