Is AI at war with women? Technology can exacerbate existing inequalities if it is trained on biased data or if it is not designed with a gender perspective in mind. At the same time, it can also be a tool for identifying and tackling those very inequalities. 

On the other hand, the primary and overwhelmingly predominant use of generative image models is the production of non-consensual synthetic pornography, which is used to harass or humiliate women who dare to participate in public life. 

Journalist Marta Peirano brings us a new and interesting debate in this series, in which she will speak with two guests who reflect deeply on digital culture and feminism, both together and individually: journalist and writer Nerea Pérez de las Heras and lawyer and communicator Inés Hernand.

Inés Hernand is a Spanish lawyer and communicator, known for her work as a presenter and populariser with a feminist and social focus. Nerea Pérez de las Heras is a Spanish journalist and writer, specialising in cultural analysis and gender perspectives. Together they host the podcast “Saldremos mejores”, where they combine current affairs, social commentary and humour on La Ser.
