I Short Story Contest “The Smile That Changed Everything” at El Corte Inglés Vigo

On the occasion of International Book Day, the Ámbito Cultural El Corte Inglés in Galicia is launching the 2nd Short Story Contest "The Smile That Changed Everything" in collaboration with the Galician Writers Association (AGER).
The short story format will award true or fictional stories, strictly unpublished, in Galician or Spanish, with a maximum length of 200 words, that convey values of cordiality, respect, solidarity, generosity, kindness, and so on, and whose message seeks to generate a positive impact.
El Corte Inglés, a company committed to culture, aims to share and foster a positive outlook on people and life with this initiative, highlighting the values that contribute to better coexistence, foster empathy, and promote tolerance and understanding.
The contest is open to all those over 18 years of age, legally residing in Galicia. The deadline for entries is May 23, 2025.
