El Corte Inglés collaborates with the Spanish Association Against Cancer in the celebration of the V Andaina “Santiago de Compostela en Marcha Contra el Cáncer”, a solidarity event open to all citizens that invites everyone to walk for a good cause: supporting people with cancer, their families and oncological research.

The walk proposes a 5‑kilometre route starting and finishing at the Paseo Central de la Alameda. A plan to enjoy with family, friends, neighbours and even your pet, sharing a day of community, solidarity and commitment.

In addition to the solidarity walk, participants will be able to enjoy the “Science for Everyone” space, with outreach activities and fun experiments designed to bring research closer to all audiences, as well as a solidarity zumba session.

Route

The circuit covers 5 kilometres and runs along Paseo de la Herradura, Avenida de Compostela, Avenida de las Burgas, Avenida del Profesor Legaz Lagambra and Avenida de Antonio Raimundo Ibáñez, returning again to the Alameda. The route will be completed in two laps.

Registrations

Registrations can be made at the Sports Department of El Corte Inglés Santiago de Compostela from September 1 to 23, as well as through the Spanish Association Against Cancer. All information available here.
