On Thursday, June 4th, 2026, the Cultural Hall of El Corte Inglés in Santiago de Compostela will host the presentation of Mujeres de hierro, the new work by Boticaria García, arriving in bookstores as a new release on May 20th.

'Mujeres de hierro' is a book on women’s health, metabolism, and longevity, especially aimed at women over 40. Written in collaboration with Dr. Javier Butragueño, it offers an original metabolic survival alphabet with practical guidelines on nutrition, training, and healthy daily habits.

With a clear, rigorous, and accessible approach, the author places the mitochondrion at the center of the narrative, explaining its key role in energy, healthy aging, and overall well‑being. Boticaria García (Marián García) holds a PhD in Pharmacy, a degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics, and a degree in Optics and Optometry. She is one of Spain’s most influential science communicators, a regular contributor to media outlets, and has a large social media community thanks to her evidence‑based health communication.

The presentation will take place at 7:00 p.m. in the Cultural Hall of El Corte Inglés in Santiago and will include a book signing by the author.
