On Thursday, June 19th at 7:00 PM, the Fashion Conference Series returns with a new conference dedicated to Fashion in the 1980s in the city of Valencia.
The 1980s marked a decade of diverse and contrasting styles, both classic and avant-garde. Valencian fashion experienced its first explosion with a series of creators and designers who burst onto the runways. Francis Montesinos, Tráfico de Modas, Vicente Mateu, Juan Andrés Mompó, Enrique Lodares, Paca Cordellat, among others, mark this first golden age of Valencian fashion. Sectors such as footwear, with names like Sara Navarro and Álvaro Carpena, symbolize this moment of renewal and creativity.
The conference will be led by cultural journalists specializing in fashion, José Vicente Plaza and Carles Gámez.
