El Corte Inglés Málaga hosts on Wednesday, 8 July at 19:30 hours, the lecture “Roman Villa Site at the Carmen Thyssen Museum”, delivered by Lourdes Moreno Molina, Artistic Director of the Carmen Thyssen Museum in Málaga. Organised by the BBVA Veterans Association.

The archaeological remains discovered beneath the museum space of the Carmen Thyssen Museum correspond to a suburban Roman complex occupied from before the 1st century AD through the Byzantine period in the early 7th century. The lecture will explore the challenges of the project, its integration and museography, as well as the unique features and contributions this site brings to the history of the city.

The event will be presented by Salvador Jiménez Morales, historian, and Antonio Moreno Barbero, president of the BBVA Veterans Association.
